Physio-yoga workshops are a blend of current western science and research with traditional eastern practices and methodology. They are typically 2-2.5hrs in length and include a lecture/discussion about relevant anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, followed by an integrative asana practice. Included in this package are the audio recordings of our 3 physio-yoga workshop practices that were offered in 2017. 

Just Breathe (80min) - an all-levels hatha practice focused on deep, effective breathing. Includes poses to increase lung capacity and an introduction to specific pranayama (breathing) techniques.

Yoga for Runners (90min) - an all-levels hatha practice designed to complement the repetitive nature of running. This sequence will address common muscle imbalances and prevent repetitive stress injury.

Yoga for Cyclists (75min) - an all-levels hatha practice designed to complement the repetitive nature of cycling. This sequence will address common muscle imbalances and prevent repetitive stress injury.
